The Japanese word for the heart: "高山ラーメン"
This refers to "Takayama Ramen," a specialty of the Takayama region of Hida in Gifu Prefecture. It is characterized by its thin, straight noodles and a broth primarily made with soy sauce and tonkotsu (pork bone broth), giving it a slightly nostalgic flavor. The ramen is presented as if the person is eating noodles, with fish cake (pink swirl pattern) and a soft-boiled egg—common ramen toppings.
Japanese text on the back: 「こってり」
"Kotteri" is a Japanese ramen term meaning "rich" or "thick," referring to a broth that is rich and oily.
