 It means "firefly squid," which is the "glowing squid," a specialty of Toyama Prefecture.

 It means "luminous body". Every year from March to June, groups of firefly squid rise to the surface of Toyama Bay to lay their eggs, and the sea surface is illuminated by points of blue light at night, which is very spectacular. Therefore, it is also known as "one of the most dreamlike seascapes in the world".
