Japanese on the front: "Ise Ebi"
Ise lobster, a specialty seafood from the Ise region of Mie Prefecture, Japan, is lauded within Japan as the "highest-grade shrimp."
Japanese on the back: "Shinsen"
Meaning "fresh." It describes not only the delicious freshness of Ise lobster but also represents a vibrant image in Japanese culture.
Cultural Background Facts
Ise Ebi is not only a premium ingredient but also a symbol of good fortune.
"Ebi" originally means "old man of the sea (a creature with a bent back)," and is considered a symbol of longevity;
Its shell resembles armor, and it has long been a symbol for samurai praying for good luck;
In the New Year's "Osechi Ryori," Ise Ebi symbolizes the joy and prosperity of the New Year, with red representing happiness and the hard shell symbolizing protection against disaster.
Because of this, Ise Ebi is also used in family crest designs and patterns on kimonos and crafts.

- "In-stock in Japan" means the goods are already in our warehouse and can be shipped back to Hong Kong with the next logistics batch.
