Heart shape in Japanese: "おらさくらんぼ"
"Ora" means "I" and is a Tohoku dialect word (especially commonly used in Yamagata and Akita).
"さくらんぼ" is cherry.
Japanese text on the back: 「つみたてです」
It means "It was just picked!"
Cultural trivia
Yamagata Prefecture is known as the "Cherry Kingdom" because over 70% of Japan's cherry production comes from Yamagata. The most famous variety is Sato Nishiki, renowned for its thin skin, juiciness, and perfect balance of sweet and sour, making it a "dream cherry" in the hearts of the Japanese.
