Design Introduction:
Front text: 「ホネのあるヤツ」
Literal translation: A person with bones / A strong-willed person
This is a pun. In Japanese, "骨のある" (having bones) is often used to describe someone who is "strong-willed," "responsible," or "ambitious."

Back text: 「 骨付鳥」
This means bone-in chicken, referring to the signature dish of Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture.

A Little Bit of Japanese Culture

Aside from Sanuki Udon, the most famous local specialty in Kagawa Prefecture is "Honetsukidori" (bone-in chicken). When people in Kagawa eat Honetsukidori, they absolutely do not waste the chicken fat at the bottom of the plate! The local tradition is to dip the accompanying raw cabbage into the chicken fat at the bottom of the plate, which is rich in garlic and spices, for a very flavorful experience.
